Mander Chronicles

The Mander Chronicles is a sotry based on some of the most popular fighting anime out there. I made this project for a few reasons. First, I wanted to take a crack at creating a deep and involved power system which could make for entertaining/exciting battles. Second, I wanted to pivot away from my usual grounded, serious take on world building to make something light hearted and fun. Third, I genuinely think alot of the anime this is inspired by are "objectively" kind of bad (even though I like them anyway), and I wanted to make my own, try my hand at it. For what this actually is, I'll set the scene: Imagine an expansive, bright world. One filled with excitement and adventure. With myths, mysteries, monsters to fight, damsels to save, treasure to find. In this world, Greek Mythology meld with Pirate stories, martial arts, and Shinobi, and the spiritual and divine forces which preside over them all. Vast oceans with countless islands and the potential to find hidden treasures around every corner. Pirates, adventurers, and other brave souls sail the seas with hearts full of dreams. Ancient masters pass their craft on to eager disciples, while shadow warriors watch and wait for the right moment to strike. All the while, the thirteen kingdoms vie for control over the entire world, while the unafilliated become caught in the crossfire.     This is the world I have envisioned. I'm not entirely decided what I'll actually use this world for, but I have a story in mind to tell with it, and as such, I won't fully flesh out all the details, so I can continue to build up the world over the course of that story. But I hope to at least create enough to set the scene and get the imagination going.
