The Cataclysmic War

The Cataclysmic war is known by many as the most devastating war in the entire history. Any detailed knowledge of how the world was before the war was lost in it along with the reason why it started only speculations remain. Some say it was started for a petty reason like any other war but grew out of proportions, while others claim it was divines who feared the powers mortals had come to possess in the years and thus sowed the seeds for their own destruction.

The Conflict

Prelude

The real reason that the war started has long been lost to the time, but It is speculated that the tension between the kingdoms of the Old World were very high resulting in an all out war between them.

Deployment

Every nation in the old world is said to have been a part of this war. Each nation used the superior Magi Tech to make weapons of mass destruction to be used in the war. These ranged from magic rifle to all the way to flying planes, magi tanks, missiles and mechs. Weapons capable of destroying entire continents were also commonly used in this war.

Outcome

The Entire Civilization of the world ended

Aftermath

The land it self was shattered and poisoned beyond repair. The shattered land resulted in the formation of The Aether Ore which allowed parts of the land to take to the sky and allow for the New World to thrive on it.

Historical Significance

Most detail about the war and life before the war were lost when the world was shattered. So historians can only speculate now on what happened during the war

Legacy

This war will forever be remembered by the people as the war that resulted in fall of civilization and destruction of the world.
