Rarity
The rarity of an Item is determined by the ease in which they can be obtained. It is the biggest contributor to the cost of an Item.Rarity | Description |
---|---|
Common | Readly available. |
Uncommon | Somewhat hard to find. |
Rare | Difficult to find. |
Scarce | Only a handful may exist in any givin country. |
Arcane | Incredibly rare and often very old. |
Divine | Useually one of a kind. These Items may have been created with knowlage that has long been lost to the ages or by The Gods themselves. |
Quality
The quality of an item refers to the magnitude of its effect. Based on what kind of item it is, quality can determine how regenerative or damaging it can be.Quality | Description |
---|---|
Trash | The lowest rating of quality, often not worth carrying the weight of the item. This is a rating that items often degrade to, not created as. |
Poor | The rating of quality that most beginner crafters will often create items at. |
Average | The baseline quality for most items. |
Exceptional | Often made by high-level crafters. Most crafting guilds will not sell items that are at least of this quality. |
Superb | Only Masters of their trade can create items of this quality. One must use the best of ingredients to even have a chance of producing this result. |
Quintessal | Items of this quality are considered Masterworks. They often sit unused in people of wealth's personal collections. Items of Quintessal quality will never fall below a rarity of Scarce. |
