Although not strictly necessary, one thing that had always irritated human Travelers was that every time they Travel, any watches, phones, or other timepiece would lose proper time. To make timepieces that keep track of time, as one is Traveling thought it, a crystal of drakynfly blood is inserted into a timepiece, usually a wristwatch or pocket watch, and, by the secret technology of the Outposters, this allows the piece to keep proper time.
