The king of old needed aid during the revolution, so he made the decision to burn down the fae forest and blame it on the The councilate in order to get aid in the revolt. His deception was successful but came with many consequences. Half of the fae forest was burned down and the king of old took advantage of the new border and 'took' the newly burned land from the Fae- expanding the reaches of kingdomania while shrinking the territories of the Faeries. Knowing how faeries work his deception didn't go unnoticed...
A young fairy discovered that the King of old ordered for the forest to burn and she brought this to the attention of her godmother. The Fae rioted and invaded the capitol exposing the treachery of the king of old. Kingdomanians and Fae fought one battle, the king of old thought about the damage a war would do to his new kingdom and decided to own up to his responsibilities and turned himself in. Every lord and soilder who contributed to the burning was exiled to the Blade isles while his wife LINK took over the kingdom.
