Majesty's End Fate Shall Not be Shackled

Long ago there was chaos. The Horrors' unfettered magicks washed over the land and drowned it in a tumult of elemental and vital fury. The mortal peoples, slaves to their baser instincts, struggled against one another in desperate bids for dominance. Life and fate was cruel, cold and unforgiving.   Until the Majesties came. With burning blade and wild word they cast down the Horrors and sealed them away within the Grim Vaults. The mortal peoples, by the guiding hand of the Majesties, united under the banner of the One-and-Only Empire. Life and fate was kind, warm and merciful.   Until now. The Majesties have disappeared, both the colossal thrones they ruled from and the dreaded Grim Vaults (save one) lie empty. The mortal peoples, alone for the first time in 10,000 years, are being consumed from within by fear and hatred. Life and fate are free. The Horrors have returned.
