Personal history
Born & raised in Massachusetts she attended MIT for fishing & anthropology. She came from a long line of fishers in her family. While at MIT she obtained the Pirate Certificate. She joined the family business until she lost her arm and leg in an accident. The accident was written off as equipment failure but in reality as a side business her family were ocean hunters. Unable to fish/hunt out on the open sea she turned to teaching, with her main goal being to expand the Pirate Certificate to other universities.
After being recruited to ISU she moved her family (husband Danny & children: Freya (15) & Marcos (13)) to Ames to teach in the new fishing department & testing the piracy minor with certificate. She trains her children in basic hunter techniques for self defense.
When she started teaching she was approached by Dr. Renard about her status as a hunter. Being retired she was urged by Renard to only teach her children for self defense. Sharing with her that there was an understanding of 'no hunting' in Ames. She was quick to catch onto Dean Maddocks and fell into line to protect her family.
