Funerary and Memorial customs

At a funeral, a man is laid to rest in the sands outside of his village of birth, holding either his sword or his pickaxe, depending on his career. At a woman's funeral, a woman is laid to rest in the same fashion, except she is given her Patron Epic to rest with for eternity in the Halls of the Dead.
