The Renaissance

After the Great Madness, Men were reduced to simple, nomadic tribes, wandering the vast wastelands of Girda. Almost a thousand years after the Great Madness, this began to change. Men began settling in one place again, and villages began to dot Magavir. Men rediscovered farming, and with this they could feed their people once again. Almost three thousand more years passed until Man's next rediscovery- the discovery of metalworking. With this, they were able to form the first true civilizations once more.

However, soon the Breaker became aware of this. It led its army of the dead to confront this renaissance, and to crush humanity once and for all. But they were woefully unprepared. During the First War, the Aiyevanin, users of the Maker's Power, were able to turn back the dead and their leader, securing Man's place on Magavir.
