Personal history

Halir Ganin was born in 41 BSW. He became King of Eacil in 16 BSW, and from then until his death he ruled the kingdom. In 1 BSW, the Breaker attacked Magavir, beginning the Second War. The northern part of his domain quickly fell, and the forces led by Nol Firoth conquered the east of Eacil. Finally, Tanivon was attacked in 3 AB, and for a hundred days the city held out against the vast hordes. During this battle, Halir earned his name "Swordshatter", when he used his warhammer to destroy an opponent's sword. However, during this battle he was also killed, when he left the city gates and charged Nol Firoth's army, which was being attacked from behind by the Ayirian army. After his death, the Ganin dynasty ended, replaced by that of one of his top generals, Kal Rothec.
