Session 5

General Summary

14th Midspring, 197 NC

Ko'Rath saw a opportunity to interact with a dragonborn scholar. He learned that he and his mistress are looking to purchase a battle standard from the auction. They seemed to come to an understanding that the party would help to secure the standard in exchange for a favor from the Piscare family of Dio to enter the Shining Library in Scalethrone, as well as aid in acquiring their item from the auction. The auction resulted in the party aquiring both a Rod of Invulnerability and a Azure Legion Battle Standard, however they lost the mirror to the stoic dwarf Gwyld Rockmaul. They then tried to purchase a secret sale item, another ivory card, which Cierio the Dragonborn actually procured. They party came to an understanding with the Piscare woman to trade the items and go their own ways. She extended an invitation to the Piscare Villa if they ever come to Dio. After losing the mirror, the party was confronted by Colton, to which they then explained the mirror was a ruse. Colton was disappointed, but was greatful they did not waste his money, and they returned his money to him. They then rested for the remainder of the day, but were advised by Liza to eventually head back to the Crossroads.
