Werewolves or Wyrms?
Plot points/Scenes
-The local notice board has a posting that the prestigious hunting faction, the Minotaur Enclave, is hosting a hunting competition in a nearby field
-When the players arrive they find several other groups and individual hunters
-Guild leader for this chapter, Samantha Terringer, announces that this is a blind hunt. A creature has been killing local animals and tearing up plant life
-The goal of this hunt is to be the first person/group to bring the dead beast back to the clearing
-They do know that this is any normal beast, the general concession is that it could be a werewolf
-The prize: 100 gold, temporary membership to the guild (gives access, if wanted, to continuing initiation rites), several minor magical items
-If the players choose to embark on the hunt, they will have 2 days to find a trail to find the beast. If they fail at this timetable another hunter will beat them to it and continue towards the beast
-Once the trail is found, it will be a half days journey to the lair
-Turns out that the supposed werewolf is actually an adolescent green dragon
-If the players manage to kill it, they can haul it back to the clearing in 2 days if they take their time
-Along the way back they will stumble across one of the hunters who has been freshly torn apart, so fresh that the dragon could not have done it
-If they aren't very perceptive they shall be ambushed by a small hoard of zombies
-These zombies are from early trial of Acererak's necromantic spells
-If they make it back to the clearing they are hailed as mighty hunters
-Samantha offers to pay an additional 50 gold and another minor magical item in return for the dragons head
-They cook a feast for all the hunters from the meat of the dragon, since one of the hunters, Malcom Fyrestrong, is a world renowned chef
