Continents
The known world is comprised of two continents located in the northern hemisphere. The larger of the two, Maanosa, extends from 20/25 degrees latitude at its southern reach to above the arctic circle in the north. It is about 4000 miles from east to west at its furthest extent and about 3500 from north to south. The second continent in the known world is Otrais which is about 2900 miles from north to south but only about 1700 miles from east to west at its widest point with most of the continent being about 750-1000 miles from coast to coast..
There are 62.5 miles between each degree of latitude, 250 miles to every four degrees.
The Arctic Circle runs between row 3 and row 4 on the Atlas map.
