Dragonborn

Considered myth by many, dragons are rare enough in the realms of men preferring to live their lives out in the wilderness far away from the bothersome lives of mortals. Once in an eternity sometimes due to their machinations or loneliness dragons may step into the world again.
Dragonborn are born as the child of a dragon and a 'heart slave', a ritual where the dragon takes the heart of that mortal into itself binding them. The body of the mortal can no longer die by traditional means. Their lives as long as their lovers.
Due to the nature of their creation, the few Dragonborn that do exist tend to be hedonistic or ambitious.
