The Mortal Massacre
The incident that involved a group of Mortal religious followers trying to gain immotality by attempting to do some kind of ritual. Nobody knows what the ritual was exactly though.
It's said that the Goddess Malyora herself showed up at the location and killed all of her followers there that had attempted or gone through the ritual. Nobody was left alive and only various bodies peirced by spiked bones were left. Whether this was part of the ritual or not, and whether the Goddess was angry or not is up to debate. High Souls don't generally talk about it, though some Breath Accolytes in Chauria that know about the incident say that it might have been some kind of benediction. Other Breath Accolytes from Sofmyre say the Goddess was angry.
