The fall of Sofmyre

On the second day of Middle Heat at the end of the annual Silver Warrior Tournament, Sofmyre city was Beseiged and overrun by Chaurian soldiers. Many soldiers and warrios being exhausted from battle, there wasn't big resistance. The sudden attack came from inside and outside the city walls. Thousands of Chaurian soldiers posed at as participants of the tournament, or simple peasants and simply waited inside the castles walls until everything was ready.
Huge stones were hurlde from the outside from above as Chaurian magicians devised a a complex way to summon many portals up above Sofmyre city. Countless civilians and soldiers died. Paddra Sil Sofmyre was protected by Kol, and the captain of the Silverleaf army, Kris Losh. They were rallying troops and starting to organize as much as they could. Many Silverleaf soldiers were taking up arms and falling back to save civilians. All of that came to an abrupt end when a volley of giant boulders came crashing into Sofmyre Castle, almost completely destroying it. Many fell silent in shock and simply watched the tree and the castle fall. Spirits were crushed, and it was finally decided that they needed to flee. They fled, urging as many civilians and soldiers as they could to also flee outside the city.
Now many are on the run, moving to find their next place of safety.
