Pale Eyes

Ever stalking around in the Insian canyons, Pale Eyes are aptly named because of the apperance of their eyes and overall complexion.
While they may look like birds, these creatures can't actually fly nor glide properly. Instead, they use their strong claws to easily climb the canyon faces, and use their wings to protect themselves from falling rocks and sandtorms. Their most known feature is that they are blind from birth and stay that way until their death. Instead, they use sound to locate prey and move around. It's speculated they use the echo from the canyon walls to more accurately locate creatures that have wandered in. As a result, it is strongly advised to bring with you some Thunder Bombs, or Bang Bags to help traverse the area. They are very violent creatures and will come to attack anything that is making sound within their vacinity.

Ecology and Habitats

They often hang around in packs, though they tend to themsevles and don't interact much with each other, even if they are close. They'll sometimes chirp at each other, bt they themselves don't make much noise. It's thought that this is because other Pale Eyes might come and attack the source of the sound, regardless of what it is.
As a result of living in the canyons, they are often seen hanging off canyon walls and other crevices to protect themsevles from falling rocks and sandstorms. They don't tend to have a specific place they call home or a nest, they often move wherever a sound is heard and stay in the area for some time.
