Lotus Pitcher

The Lotus Pitcher is a type of aquatic flower that grows in various places near any body of water. While the plant itself is fairly valuable and easier to gather, the monsters, Lotus Guardian that guard these flowers are another story altogether. The Lotus Guardians that guard the flowers use them as food and to keep themselves moisturized/wet at all times since they die if they dry up. They are curious creatures since they only rely on the flowers to keep their water levels up, suggesting that they may not be able to even swim. Some Pale Druids suggest that the monsters evolved this way to minimize their predators.
The Lotus Pitcher itself is relatively big, the stem being around 6 ft. tall, and the petals make up 4 ft. in diameter. The petals themselves curve upward and keeps the water it absorbs using its roots from the ocean/lake in this bowl-shaped pistil (top part of the flower). It can gather water from rain because of this bowl-like shape as well. It gathers its energy from the sun and produces nectar in the middle of the pistil, creating a Ray Pearl.
