From a different time, these floating bunch of rocks are somewhat of an enigma. They bear no runes, or carvings, or any sign that these were worked on by people at all; yet some old Insia tomes and books suggests these might have been a result of the people that lived in that region before it was even called Insia. They might have been guardians, or hunters, but either way today they are dangerous. While they won't actively attack, getting too close to what these creatures consider their "territory" will make them wake up and start attacking creatures. These territories are fairly small and accidentally stepping in one is rare, but it does happen. Also since they aren't any remarkable markings on these creatures, it's impossible to tell where one might and might not be. Some stick out of the ground, others are buried, so even the presence of odd looking rocks isn't a determining factor.
Running away is usually a safe bet as they never go outside their small territory, and there's no real reason to actively hunt them save for the raw currency and materials they drop suggesting they are indeed monsters, and that makes it even less likely that these were once made by the people of Insia.
