Chapter 1.1 Moving on up What Really Happened

General Summary

The party went to drop off their goods at the general affairs office. Fulcrum pissed about not getting money right away. They went back to Branwen's apartment to sleep. Fulcrum stitched his hand while everyone slept, Del became attuned to Fulcrum finally. Branwen went to eat breakfast, they met a drunkard. Del intervened and managed to deter the drunk man that hit his Demisent. They left without any incident. They went to the bank, got money (22GC) deposited in their account. Went to the general affairs, got recompensated for completing the quest, and went off to do the Buzz Bloods quest. Went to Shana, went to buy some handaxes from Troy. Went to beat up some Buzz Bloods, killed them and went for more. Killed more buzzbloods and froze a green slime solid. Leveled up, Branwen visited the shrine and interacted with it. They went back to Sofmyre, Fulcrum consoled a crying child and his distressed mother. They went back to the general affairs building and completed the Buzz Blood quest.
Had a long rest, they went back to the general affairs office because they were summoned. Branwen wrote down her report. Del got asked questions by Lyth and answered well (to her expectations), and Fulcrum met Layla for the first time. They also met Kol, and received the mission to go to the first cave to explore it. They went in, dealt with the buzz blood easily. Went down, figured out there were more traps around. Disarmed the one trap in the room. Checked out the shack, found its contents, which wasn't much. Checked out the big chest, found the lightning bomb (old). Went back up, triggered an empty trap. Found two more empties, but then Fulcrum led the way because he sensed blood further in the cave, he then got shot by a loaded trap, was fairly ok. They killed the Magitiks, heard a loud thunder clap, proceeded deeper with caution. Met the Horror Constructs and killed them, but not before they got hit with a lightning bolt. Checked out the small room full of crossbows. Took the door out of its hole to protect against any bolts. Checked out the chest and the scrolls on the table. Wanted to maybe burn the scrolls, but decided maybe not too and opened the map to see that it might be in an area beyond Insia, but that's it. The didn't burn the papers. Del went in the lead to see what was down the hall. He completely missed the dozens of crossbows lining the walls and Branwen decided the best way to warn him of that was saying "You should have brought the door." Thankfully only one bolt came towards him and he was able to barely dodge out of the way. Del told Fulcrum to get the door now and he did so. The promptly used the door for shot-put practice and triggered all the crossbows safely. Del went ahead of the party and did this. They then say a strange symbol that Del seemed to be somewhat familiar with, but didn't know exactly how. They found the secret exit, went back for the papers and left the dungeon. The went back to Sofmyre, met Layla, went to the general affairs office, got told to go to the castle, went to the castle, met with Kol, Branwen and Fulcrum being impressed by what they see, gave the things they found to Kol, got paid, left, got told to meet Lyth again for their next mission, and finally went back to Branwen's apartment to rest. They got up the next day, Branwen was being a bit of a baby and wanted to sleep more, Fulcrum fixed that. Branwen got dressed, and went out to eat waffles.
