Origin: To Understand this young arcanist, you must first understand three things that make him what he is. The first is a noble member of the Weavers; the richest and arguably most influential house in the feywild. The second is that Norio is a potential heir to the head of the house and therefore one of the greatest pendulums of political power currently walking the plane. The third is that he comes by this power in being descended from a dreaded serpent talked about in stories meant to send shivers down the bone and cause the hearer to dread the oncoming night. He was not considered high nobility by birth but the evidence of his lineage made his title indisputably clear. Almost the entire family became royalty over night and all of it hinged on this single heir. Aware that he would not be able to hold back those who would try to gain influence with the young boy, Noshadu, Norio's father, sent him to the Sapphire temple (the Oldri school of the arcane). While Norio did not need to learn in order to harness the full power of his lineage, it ensured an education far from prying nobles, and relative solitude to develop. He is now the ambassador of the Weaver's to the Sapphire temple and is close to completing his education there.
Situation: At the end of his studies, Norio now sets out on the walk of Joho, a traditional element of learning magic in which the student is sent out to wander the lands and observe them in whichever way they choose. He decided to travel in the company of a distinguished military general who was at the time visiting the school. Now he accompanies the general to a small village on the outskirts of the Dark Root Mountains. He knows with each day his graduation and return to Sinwon grow closer, and soon he shall have to step his place as an heir to the Silver Thread Throne.
Personality: Norio is extremely independent and cunning. Even with his somewhat secluded upbringing he shows an inborn talent for guile and subtle planning. He's very charismatic but in a reserved and occasionally unnerving sense. He is also keenly aware of the powers at play in many situations and uses relatively little of his influence.
