Pyruf 655 ED, Part I

General Summary

This session covered the time between Santiel the 23rd and the first half of Gadraq the 26th of Pyruf, 655 ED. ????????? ????????? mostly spent her time researching additional spells, Theren Virmaer left homeward for a break from mercenary work, and Leif Neils traveled back to Aurix-Nakta to visit the library he once worked at. Syzygy notified ????????? ????????? of a job offer dealing with bandits early on Penel the 25th. While meeting up with ??? in Galtebjerg and discussing their next move, an older Dwarven fellow called out to the group, seemingly referring to ????????? ????????? as Guinevere. He seemed to have some relation to her, but long story short, he mentioned a favour she owed him. He introduced himself as Balken Rovntri, and he wished to use that favour to have the party rescue his nephew, Hinkaldr Danagh. He claimed to have good reason to believe that his nephew along with his family's wagon fell victim to the bandits, which had captured a sizable trading caravan. After the encounter with Rovntri, the party found themselves signing up for the official bandit raid. This official retaliation is scheduled for Pyruf 30th and will launch from the southern military town of Haladori. They talked to a Sir Darenthral, a minor military official of the city, who was leading the Galtebjerg forces in the fight. After ????????? ????????? and Leif Neils gave their names to the officer, he summoned them to Jarl Tormod's court. There, the Jarl thanked them vigorously for saving his life, helping with the dragon attack in Dannport, and helping to solve the murder of Jarin de Bolbec in the previous month. They were then rewarded and granted Fribondeship in Galtebjerg. After this fiasco, ????????? ????????? returned to her university until she was assigned to acquire a Stone Giant's heart and threktol organs. On the 26th, the party returned to Galtebjerg, bringing along "Flaw" and "Trust," and they hired an Elven Minor Travel Warrenmeister of Erdboden named Veratio Croulet. He charged a slightly high price but claimed it was fair. He accompanied the party in their hunt for Stone Giants. In Erdboden, the party fortunately appeared very near a Stone Giant camp, which they swiftly attacked. During this fight, Valas von Everec joined midway through, and, at its conclusion, he introduced himself as a traveler from Dunpiri on his way to Vinderslev. He was friendly enough towards them, and the party allowed him to tag along with them back to Galtebjerg. At the end of this session, it was approximately noon, Pyruf 26th, in standard Lospiric hours.
