Viridi

Viridi, also known as The Witch of Blue Flame and Scholar of Magic, is a deity of arcane magic, wizards, learning, and knowledge.

Appearance

Viridi is often depicted as a female dressed in blue robes that seem to to burn with echo embers. She wears a large pointed hat that shadows her face making it imperceptible from the outside except for two bright blue eyes that seem to burn with energy. It is said that below her hat, she has long flowing silver hair and pale skin.

Commandments

• Pursue all knowledge and learn all there is to learn. No knowledge should go unknown.
• The powers of knowledge, the mind, and the arcane, will always triumph over the brutality of brawn and steel.
• Wisps of lost magic are to be followed and learned, record them for all of time, never to be lost to dust.

Worship

The worshippers of Viridi tend to be those who pursue the knowledge of the arcane as well as scholars. Her clerics and churches tend to act not only as places of worship, but as librarians and libraries, open to all who desire to learn. The clerics of Viridi also act as bookkeepers and scribes, repairing ancient tomes when they can be fixed or copying them by hand into another tome when the original is soon to be lost.
