Mondarus

Mondarus, also known as the Night Guard, Warden of the Night, and the Compass Star, is a deity of the night, stars, travel, and navigation.

Appearance

Mondarus is typically depicted as an individual with deep purple skin covered with small speckles of light akin to stars, two eyes that glow like that of twin full moons, and his long hair is a deep blue that almost looks black in colour. Two horns coil around his head made of a clear crystalline material that seems to reflect constellations within it.

Worship

Mondarus is often worshipped by travellers and those who have a connection to the night. Small shrines and temples are often at the top of hills and mountains where as much of the sky as possible can be seen at night. The temples themselves typically consist of a round raised platform without walls or a roof, with worshippers typically gathering at night to gaze at the stars and receive omens from Mondarus.
