Ceò

Ceò, also known as The Mist, The Slumbering Goddess, and The One Who Dreams, is a deity of sleep, dreams, mist, and death, especially those who pass in their sleep.

Appearance

Ceò is often depicted as a vulshan woman wearing long flowing robes with long white hair that seems to trail off into nothing but clouded mist. Her eyes are grey and she often has a tired or sleeping expression. Statues and depictions of her are also often done with transparent materials as part of her identity and association with mist. These pieces of art, whether they be statues, paintings, or works of stained glass, also have a tendency to depict her asleep.

Worship

Ceò is said to be one of the first deities born within the Aether during the creation of everything. It is said that upon being born into the Aether, she fell into a deep slumber, living out her existence in a state of endless dreams. Her worshippers claim that her dreams are the foundations of all dreams and that the foggy mist on the edge of your vision during a dream is you seeing through the veil into one of hers.
Some worshippers claim, with dubious credibility, that everything that exists is a part of her dreams and that if she was ever to be awoken, all of existence would cease to be. This leads her to sometimes be recognized and worshipped as a creation deity.
While the goddess doesn't pay much attention to Luxilice, she still has clerics and followers that she grants powers to, and only ever sends omens and signs in dreams.
