Adrian Council

The Adrian Council consists of the elected representatives from all regions of the The Republic of Adria. The most significant responsibility of these councilmen and women is, by far, the selection of the Prime Minister (currently Andreas Remonnet). The council holds other powers, but these have, over the last ~3 centuries, become increasingly subordinate to the Prime Minister. A large enough percentage of the council is loyal to The Triumvirate that this arrangement is seldom questioned. And indeed, the Republic has typically flourished under this consolidated power structure.
