November 10th, First Quandary of U'lltharn

In the beginning, there was light and dark, earth and void, life and death. These elements swirled amongst each other, vying for dominance. A balance was struck, a sort of universal contract. Things haven't fallen apart yet. The agents of law and chaos, death and rebirth work for their respective deities. Massive beings, known to us as "eldritch abominations" and the like, are the representatives of these elements. Too large for us to comprehend, and cruel and uncaring towards our wellbeing. The only thing they care about is establishing their dominance.   Earth is nothing more than a marble in the ocean of reality. A marble among countless marbles. But it was once much more than that. The waves had long since spirited it away from its true home, to this remote corner of the cosmos. Inside the planet lies a key that many are searching for. One that could disrupt the balance.   Herbville, Colorado is naught more than a sleepy Denver suburb. Chain megamarts illuminate the night sky, and minivans roam the streets. Our players, residents of this small town, are about to be exposed to the secrets of the universe and to the creeping threat the full moon poses
