Muszla

Muszla is the neon underwater merfolk world that's brimming with glowing colors and also happens to be Mariana Trench deep.

Demographics

Pretty much all the inhabitants of Muszla are mariana merfolk. These merfolk tend to have dark blue-black skin, and brightly colored hair, coming from the food they eat.

Government

The way Muszla's government works is by having a group of merfolk voted by the people to be a part of the Narada (which has two parts, Noble Narada and the Normal Narada. There are 7 members in each). Muszla also has a reigning Imperator, and the way this works is that the Narada presents different sides of an argument to him (while keeping the usual/not-so-important affairs running smoothly) and after all is presented to him, The Imperator makes the final decision. The Narada is re voted for every 7 years at the Great Anemone Opening Ceremony.

Defences

Muszla has the incredible ability to just 'lights off'. The entire kingdom can go into stealth mode and that makes it very very scary and hard for any potential invaders.

Industry & Trade

There's a huge business in growing and farming pumice and sefthosweed. They're also known for creating different ambers, which are mediums that are ridiculously easy to infuse magic into, hence being in high demand.

Assets

Pumice and sefthosweed are quite valuable and a huge asset to Muszla.

History

Muszla is the youngest country in the continent, coming into the open fairly recently after Lubzog's banishing caused the water to darkify for reasons unknown to date.

Tourism

People come to Muszla to see the absolute uniqueness that is it's inhabitants' living style. They come to see all the neons and the strange cuisine. And the time where it's absolutely best to visit Muszla, is the Great Anemone Opening Ceremony. Once every 7 years, the Great Anemone in Mariana opens into full bloom and stays that way for one full week. On it's blooming, every glowing object in Muszla glows brighter, to the point that it looks like a full moon day on land. Jellyfishes perform a dance around it and The Giant Siphonofore rises from it's slumber and drifts over Mariana. Merfolk in colorful costumes dance to the pattern of the jellyfish and the streets are vibrant with celebration. No one would want to miss that!

Architecture

Houses in Muszla are made of a special mixture that acts like goop but hardens under UV light, called Domgloop. Most houses are shaped after jellyfish, and they glow in the dark of course!

Geography

Muszla has a unique charm of it's own, with lands and cliffs made of dark stone and millions of bioluminescent plants growing happily along it, making it quite the sight to look at.

Natural Resources

Muszla mines pumice and grows sefthosweed, which are both quite valuable in making Domgoop and ambers.
