Lucine
The Lucine Galaxy is a small system of twelve planets centered around one star, ten of which are terrestrial and two of which are gas giants. Nine of the terrestrial planets are able to sustain life and harbor extremely diverse ecosystems, environments, and cultures.
Eight of the planets have been allowed to develop naturally and are largely without outside interference. Life on these planets is not knowledgeable about life existing elsewhere in the solar system. The exception is the planet known as Pallau. Previously, it was the only life-sustaining planet in the system that had not evolved sophonts. A race of incredibly advanced creatures seeded this world with several populations of each of the different sophonts as an experiment.
The remaining life-sustaining planets are called Acatlan, Broute, Eohan, Garam, Meqat, Mizarat, Veszla, and Yakal, named after the sapient species that inhabit them.
