  Lothien is the largest consolidated empire on the world of Eru. The individual kingdoms that make up Lothien were some of the first to develop a written language and societal structures. The cultural makeup of these kingdoms is quite diverse, from the orc kingdom of Dhakal in the north to the vast underground dwarven kingdom of the Warrens in the Southwest, to the central city of Beaumont with its magnificent castle. There is little known about the lands past the boundaries of the empire. Very few voyage that far from the center of the civilized world. Those that have explored some of these lands have returned with extraordinary tales.
