Lost Lands

On the planet there are many different super cities which are extremely large cities with a large amount of out lying land under their control. Once you leave the city control you enter what is known as free land, or land with no law and out of the reach of the cities. Most of the time the city will leave these large areas of land alone due to the fact that it is more work to maintain control over these parts than what they are worth.   Free land does have small towns and villages which have their own rules and very strict punishment to law breakers, however the majority of the land is lawless with a few groups of individuals around each part.
