The Pirate Code is a loose collection of unofficial rules followed by the Sea Princes that outlines how confederates should interact with one another on both land and sea. While most of the code is bound by honor, double-crossing one another can be seen as a grand bid for intellectual superiority, and is not always frowned upon.
