Abend Exorcists
Structure
The Abend Exorcists are divided into different local guilds led by a Grand Exorcists. They are divided into 6 different ranks of actual exorcists.
Of course there are various forms of assistance such as secretaries, blacksmiths, healers, and scholars that are paid handsomely for their association.
Apprentice | An actual member of the apprentice. They put under a teacher exorcist and accompany Journeymen or Masters on hunts or exorcisms. They are given the foundational knowledge of wards. |
Journeymen | The most common form of Exorcist due where most of the actual work. |
Master Exorcist | Master exorcists have refined the craft of wards and connecting with the spirit realm to the point of it being their main focus. Masters will take on various roles within the organization as needed. Or alternatively they are reserved for only the most dangerous of foes. |
Teacher | Teacher Exorcists are those who instruct younger members and organize missions. They also take on the traditional role of a batlock master which have caused confusion in several instances. |
Grand Exorcist | The leader of a local chapter. They are the public relations expert an the word and hand of councilmen. |
Councilman | The international/inter-regional member who keep the Grand Exorcists in contact with one another and can order the change of station of any rank of an official member. |
Culture
The Abend Exorcists are militarized and considered radical by some, being hired by governments to fight only the biggest of threats from the spirit realms and some forms terrorists such as the cult of Marsolomon.
Public Agenda
Their goal from the very conception of the idea in Tadmor the Exorcists head was to kill monsters. Anything that threatened the lives of mortals would be on the table for them to eradicate. They are also committed to taking away outdated ideas about wonders such as the ideas of spirit taming and the teachings of Rafith Azeol which they do using political pull.
History
It was founded 300 years ago by Tadmor the Exorcist and funded by several Saul warlords and several members of the Mordesent aristocracy. It quickly gained traction, more than making up for their initial costs within the first 20 years. It was once where everyone was equal before dividing into suborganizations and ranks based on experience level.
