Greek Civil War
Revolution
Greece collapses into a brief but violent civil war. The end result is the socialist victory.
Greece never fully recovered from the economic crisis that struck it at the beginning of the 21st Century. With strong popularity of political radicals, the stage was ready for the civil war after the Phlegreian Fields eruption. Almost simultaneous coup attempts by the left-wing and right-wing radicals was the final straw.
The brief civil war ended with a victory of the radical socialists. Democratic Republic of Greece was established. This did little to alleviate the economic crisis, however.
