Liberty City

An anarchocapitalist utopia established - and snuffed out.

A 'anarchocapitalist' utopia is created on a part of Faroe Islands leased to a joint initiative of megacorporations - in exchange of notable financial support to the region once the Denmark was de facto gone and the nearest country was a totalitarian socialist regime.   Liberty City is soon seen as a wretched hive of villainy, with tax evasion being the smallest of problems. The end result is the international community putting up surprisingly little protests when the United Republic of Britain seized the whole Faroe islands region. 'Liberty City' and it's 'persecutions' at the hands of 'collectivists' ended up becoming a major party of Liberty Conglomerate propaganda centuries later.
