Tensions in the Middle East finally erupt for real, pitching Saudi Arabia, Iran and Turkey in a war for the dominance of the region. The end results in almost pyrrhic victory of Iran, an unsatisfying victory for Turkey, disaster for Saudi Arabia... and a great occasion for the Israel.

The war was slowly brewing in the Middle East ever since the general collapse of worldwide economy and complete abandonment of the region by United States and NATO in general following the two mega-eruptions. To a surprise of absolutely anybody, it finally exploded. Very soon the war descended into a melee-a-trois between the Saudi Arabia (seeking to maintain its control over largest remaining oil reserves), and both Iran and Turkey, both of which wanted to expand and assert dominance over the Middle East Region. In Iran's case for religion, in Turkey's case due to delusions of grandeur of its leader who seeked to restore Turkey to its 'rightful' position that it lost after the fall of the Ottoman Empire... and for religion. There was also a number of secondary armed groups that participated in the war on the secondary fronts, especially in Syria.   The war almost ended in everyone's defeat. Saudi Arabia's hold on the Kuwait and UAE is dismantled. Iran maintains control over the Iraq and maintains its position in the region, but is massively weakened. Turkey does the same in majority of Syria. The war, in the end, extinguished itself when all participants run out of steam. However, the chaos in the region makes Israel consider creation of some buffer states - by the end of the world, Lebanon and Jordan are de facto puppet states.
