Islamic League

Islamic League is an Outer Colonies faction composed of variety of semi-democratic or autocratic (with few monarchies) that are connected with bonds of common, Islamic faith.
Just as Christianity, Islam also survived a space resurgence, with variety of states banding beneath its banner to better resist an onslaught of extremists, terrans and aliens (not to mention more... strange dangers of Hyperspace). They are also considered a centrist faction (together with NNAT, RPC and AR), which sometimes changes when they go on a Jihad.
