"My poor little watcher family. Named for their role in establishing settlements. When a town wanted to beef up its defenses or expand their reach, a sort of guild could be hired to move in and establish the area for a generation or two. Building walls and defending them primarily to let people do their thing and not have to focus only on survival while nature is getting used to people in the area."

Backstory

Born under the Watch Commander of Navara, his father always had high expectations of Steve and his two brothers. His father ___ was murdered, Steve was framed and his surviving family was forced into service by those who killed Steves father. Managing to escape Navara, the guard, and bounty hunters for nearly a year Steve found himself living as a hermit beyond the fringes of society honing his skill with bow and song vying his time to return and see his family freed.
