Ülna

Ulna is a world of fantastical means and wonderous ways. It is high fantasy; a world of adventures, guilds, kingdoms, and commerce. In Ulna, nothing speaks louder than coin. The way most adventurers get their coin is through contracts and trade. Merchants rule supreme in Ulna, coin flows freely from their hands as water from a river, and these rivers have never run dry.   Most adventurers turn to guarding, bounty hunting, treasure delving, or sometimes becoming bandits if they have little to no mercantile wit. A few, however, turn to guilds for means of room and board. The guilds provide work for a swath of individuals: tradesmen, mercenaries, scholars, bards, and even thieves.   The kingdom of Ulalebard is a Mediterranean dynasty, its trade is primarily exporting, but it is also a hub of activity. It is considered the “heart” of the Eastern world, and it lives up to its name. Many guilds, shoppes, and ambassadors find their homes in Ulalebard’s capital city Solima. This is also where the royal family resides; the Orsis clan.   The Orsis family controls all outgoing and incoming business through a series of magical contract and deals with certain devils. It is a well known fact that the Orsis are practicing diabolists and it is generally accepted throughout the kingdom with only some resistance from the outlying cities.
