With the onset popularity of the Reviver Seed competitors decided to make customer's more wary, and thus less likely to purchase, of the product with a knockoff which does the opposite of revive.
It's only identifiable feature is it's discordant pulse rhythm that will never align with the beat of anything, heart or otherwise.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Nearly identical to the Reviver Seed, it will restore the bearer to full health upon them dropping to 0 hp or below. Unfortunately it then causes the bearer to laugh uncontrollably, eventually causing their deaths within 5 turns.

Significance

It's sometimes sold as a legitimate Reviver seed, but those that sense it's deception rarely let the salesman off easily.
