Mid-Dortyne

The traditional Olthican celebration of Mid-Dortyne (the fall equinox) has fallen to the wayside in consideration with its connection to the initiation of the War of Bones.

History

Mid-Dortyne used to be celebrated with elegant dances featuring game pies and apple-nut pastries. However, since the War of Bones began on this date in 2411, these traditions have fallen to the wayside in favor of more austere ones.

Execution

Olthicans always work on Mid-Dortyne. If they are unemployed for any reason, they will find work picking up streets, studying books, or anything else that could be mentally or physically taxing if able. Additionally, all current and former military members wear full armor and weapons while the sun is up in the fall equinox.
