Mid-Caltyne is the name for the summer solstice celebration performed by Olthicans.
Execution
During Mid-Caltyne, at exactly midday, every Olthican endeavors to be in the nearest body of water, symbolizing their ability to "change the flow of the tides as one." Afterward, they have a meal of soft cheeses, mutton, and thick rye bread before returning to work.
