Races Unique to Limoneyrs

This is a meta article that seperates homebrew races from those in offical material. I'm writing this because of the number of races that I've pulled from D&D and AD&D sources before 5E is extensive and I want to be able to remember which races were weird ones I looked up, and which were weird ones I created myself.   Many of these races are valid playable races in my games. However I may have not designed their features and characteristics, so they will need to be requested and developed ahead of any game they are used in.

Original Races

Dinonoir are a race of humanoids descended from Dinosaurs who have been lost in the deepest depths of the Underdark since the end of the Cave Wars. They have black scales and features resembling raptors and t-rexes. They are inspired by the Silurians from Doctor Who.   Sysmelli were a group of humanoid bees that always followed the orders of their Queen. They were very technically minded and focused on operating at peak efficency in their mission to dominate all of Bugspace through violence and war. They flew through space in hexagonal Spelljammers called Syshexes. Rarely a Sysmelli could be severed from its connection to the Queen and find a new life and purpose. They are inspired by the Borg from Star Trek.   Rhopolai (Roe-poe-lie) were a small race in Bugspace that resembled butterflies.   Marrowphage were an unnerving race of moth-like humanoids who would nourish themselves on the bones of other races. Based on Horn Moths.   Marrionadas (Marrionette + Cicadas) were a small cicada like creature that would burrow into the ears of its victims. Once inside the ears of a victim the Marrionadas song would control the host body's motor functions. They would breed assexually by laying down larvae all throughout the insides of any host who became no longer useful. Based on Zombie Cicadas and Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan.   Centitaur are a race of centipede that   Solgwai were an ooze race that lived in shells. They resembled snails.   Arthopod Race?   Firefly Race?

Original Subraces

Pteradokras are an evolutionary ancestor of Aaracokras that have been lost along with the Dinonoir since the Cave Wars. They are a humanoid avian race that resemble pterodactyls.   Dworgs are a Dwarven subrace that came about as a result of breeding between Worgs and Dwarfs. They resemble very short sasquatches and live in tree villages. They are inspired by Ewoks and Wookies from Star Wars.   Etherelves are a nearly extinct subrace of Elves. They had a powerful connection the Ethereal Realm and often took on careers as mystics, fortune tellers, and clairvoyants. (They may be similar to Ghost Elves, but I've not researched it yet.)   Scaleves are an all female race of Draconic Elves that were created by Mother Grax to give sisters to Kobolds. They resemble Elves but have scales instead of skin.   Short Elves are descended from Gnomes and Elves who changed a portion of Erysichthon's desert into dessert. They are short like Gnomes, but otherwise resemble Elves. They have thin colorful hair and live in a sugary land of candy and sweets.   Shiitocodiles are a subrace of Lizardfolk who have the permanent boon of a Circle of Spores Druid. They can control and manipulate mushrooms and fungus.   Plaugeborn Mycnoids are a subrace of Mycnoids. They were disembodied souls placed into Rotspores and returned to life by a Circle of Spores Druid.   Hellhorns are fiendish Giff that resemble Rhinos.   Orange and Purple Dragonborn.   Kobolds in Green, Purple, Orange, Red, White, Black, Yellow, and Blue.

Reskins

Tall Dwarves are mechanically the same as Eladrin. This was an out-of-character joke made by my players that was later canonized as lore. They share a pretty even mix of pure Elven and pure Dwarven lineage, and men often have a Elvish build mixed with a Dwarven beard.   Sun Elves already exist elsewhere, but my version of Sun Elves are very similar to Plasmoids or other natives of the elemental plane of fire. They live on the surface of a star and exude heat in other enviroments. Otherwise they are probably similar to an Astral Elf.   Oarks are just Orcs. They aren't really different apart from the spelling. Oarks are descended from boars that were affected by the magic of a Boarmancer, and the spelling is a reminder of that origin.
