Tufargan are zeitgabberim who are permanently Romeros due to injury. The amount of injury this takes usually would be fatal to a non-infected. Compared to the average Romero, they are low-functioning.

This subtype of zeitgabber has been known for a while. Proto-Licentia quickly realized that soldiers who barely survived battle sometimes became Romeros.
