Cyclers are zeitgabberim who are cycle between a state of normal functioning and a state of RAASC. They are the most common type of zeitgabber.

Biological Cycle

Cyclers generally operate on a four week cycle, where they have two weeks of full functioning and two weeks of a RAASC. If in a supportive environment, most of them are very high functioning during their RAASC and will continue to follow their daily routine autonomously and can handle a few unexpected changes to their schedule. With further practice and training, most cyclers eventually begin "semi-cycling" where their RAASC period is no longer a RAASC but rather a vulnerability to it. They may go through a full cycle without a RAASC at all if they don't encounter a trigger. This discovery of semi-cycling, widely accepted circa late 2018, and the realization that some carriers are also more vulnerable to a RAASC at certain times of the month has blurred the lines between the categories and given rise to a spectrum-based model of Rumase-Associated Illness.
