The Mithril Spire
Purpose / Function
The purpose of the Mithril Spire is unknown and barely debatable, due to lack of knowledge on the spire. It seems to have no discernible purpose, and does nothing.
However, due to its antimagic field, it's a popular location for non-hostile meetings between hostile or tense factions, such as nations. The field is also no-mans-land, belonging to no organizations.
Architecture
The spire is 30 mi (158,400 ft) high, clearly visible from all across Leytara.
It is made from Adamantium, but due to a long-held misunderstanding, it is most commonly referred to as the Mithril Spire.
Surrounding and centered on the spire is an antimagic field, measuring 1 mile in radius, horizontally, at ground level. Overall, it is an ovoid shape, encapsulating the entirety of the Spire.
The Spire is considered indestructible, as only magic and gods can damage or destroy Adamantium, the antimagic field prevents magic from working on it, and the gods are too limited by Divine Law to destroy the Spire, not that anyone cares enough to try. The antimagic field has also been unaffected by any wish spell cast on it, as has anything within the field.
History
The Spire was constructed too many ages ago for anyone to know when it was built.
