Personal history
Weston comes from a family of shapeshifter hunters that mostly go after werewolves. Unlike the rest of his family he lacks the special sense to detect shifters nearby and increase physical and mental abilities to combat them. Nevertheless he does have the training and knowledge to fight them. While he and partner Barkhad take on a mission escorting Elif, he gets bit by the werewolf he and his partner were supposed to take down.
