Transitioning for biological vampires
Young vampires aren't that much indistinguishable from witches. After their first puberty (which is the same as human puberty) they will enter a second puberty. It's rare for vampires to go through this second puberty (aka transitioning) at the same time as first puberty or for it to take place after the age of 50.Signs transitioning is about to happen
- lethargy as body prepares to enter slumber
Transitioning process
Dietary Needs and Habits
Mammalian blood for the most part. Can drink blood from birds.
Biological Cycle
Biological vampires
After transitioning body stops growing (if transition takes place while body is still in its teenage years for example) and aging is greatly slowed down. For female vampires it means whenever their monthly cycle comes, it may be a few years or a hundred for them to actually be fertile enough to conceive.Turned vampires
Aging stops for them as they are trapped in whatever body they are turned in. For female vampires their eggs die off and no longer can conceive by biological means. Depending on how far along in their pregnancy they are, the fetus will survive.Additional Information
