Giggles
Giggles is a Clownfolk who is a student in the Bard class at the Academy.
Giggles is a trained juggler and performs acrobatic students while doing so. She also has a dry humor and isn't terribly expressive most of the time.
Giggles is a member of the Cirque du Gold, a group of Clownfolk who have committed atrocious acts against others in order to spread terror, fear, and misery.
Giggles left the Cirque du Gold early on in life and was picked up by Professor Deekin who guided her through her formative years.
Giggles was extremely upset when she witnessed her brother's severed head on a plate, being walked around town by Siobhan. She felt as if a dead clownfolk was something to be paraded by the townsfolk, something to be celebrated. She left and hid in the theater and began drinking alone, when Caer found her.
Giggles developed a crush on Caer, after he assured her that he would be her friend no matter who her family was, after learning that her family was full of killers. He assured her that her birth does not determine the kind of person that she is and that she can still be a good person.
Giggles was captured by her family and forced into a death game involving a train. Caer was introduced to the game and made a decision to save Giggle's life at the cost of six innocent humans. Giggles begged Caer to let her die instead, that if she were to live, she would be changed into a different person, that she would be forced to hurt people, and to hurt Caer. She expressed that she never wanted to be forced to do those things and would rather die. Caer could not kill Giggles however, and promised her that he would find her and save her, flipping the switch, to sacrifice six lives to save hers instead.
Giggles' last request before she changed, was to have her sister deliver a package of gifts to Caer's dorm. Momentos of the person she used to be.
The next time Caer and Giggles met, it was an assassination attempt on Deekin's like. Giggles had become different both in appearance and behavior. She had become violent and deposited a bag containing Todd's head. Caer and Maril foiled the assassination attempt and Giggles escaped.
