With the advancement of ether technology a man by the name of Abdullah TelkRidge. His time spent creating and discovering the limits of ether and soon took it upon himself to begin integrating it into living matter creating cyborgs. The Archduke of Solharaz and other prominent researchers on the island had his research confiscated and sentenced him to death for the crime of human experimentation. His exacution is not confirmed along with the disappearance of his former team.
